Geez this wasn't going according to plan at all. Reza didn't think the girl was actively trying to cause problems, but he couldn't have her just go around doing whatever she wanted. That rabbit thing wasn't...real. It was a part of her power that she had been using to show off or fight or something. Reza could understand the infatuation of gaining powers, but he couldn't let people just fire them off whenever they wanted to. There were still laws, that were placed in order to bring balance and safety to everyone.

Of course, his entire speech went out the window as soon as the two sisters intervened. Reza couldn't even react before the two girls harmed the other and left her in a puddle of her own vomit.

"Damn it" Reza said as he watched the two girls leave. One of them clearly had powers, you didn't touch someone like that and make them throw up without it. The other...was that a key out of her head? Regardless, questions for another matter. Reza turned back to Misery. "I can see that" he said as he saw Misery and her condition. "The other girl mentioned healing her as soon as she came home....sister?" Reza asked as he knelt down next to Misery.

"Would a hospital help you, or can I just drive you home? I can't leave you here like this"

"What the fuck?" Watching the girl talking to... some kind of ... cute looking thing, completely ignoring the cop was a bit amusing, but that pretty much all turned sour immediately when Lutea starting throwing up and the other sister hit her.

Cody swore again, and hurried over to the others clustering around the girl, though when he saw how green she was he stopped a few feet away. She didn't look like she had the flu so much as a life threatening disease. No point in asking if she was alright either, she obviously wasn't. "What happened?"

Her eyes unfocused and glassy, Misery did her best to rise up to her feet despite her condition, getting up and onto her hands as she belched out a new round of vomit. Her sister hadn't fooled around this time. It would be harder for her to reach home than it had ever been before when she'd taken to annoying her sibling.

"I'll be okay..." Misery croaked out as she struggled her way to her feet. "Just gotta... home..."

When the girl that had identified herself as Lutea made her way to her feet Noah rose as well, ready to catch her if her strength suddenly failed her on the way up. She didn't look stable at all and that worried Noah, though he'd been a little weary before and realized the risks of helping the lady was the risk of getting whatever sickness she suffered, Noah had already made up his mind.

"Then I'll help you get there." Noah said taking Misery by the hand and pulling it over his shoulder to support her weight using his other hand to support her at the waist, making sure not to make any more provocative move than necessary to hold her up.

Looking at the officer Noah smiled, "There's no use in you risking sickness as well, I'll take her home as quickly as possible." Noah had already abandoned the idea of a hospital since that was obviously not what the lady wanted, and he wasn't going to drag a full adult kicking and screaming into a hospital, there was no dignity in that.

Not that the vomit covered girl had much dignity left.

The girl had merit, Reza had to give her some credit. She was at least trying to make this work without things getting worse for herself. Still, he wasn't going to let her walk home in this kind of a state. There was no telling what someone might do to her should they find her. Speaking of which...

"Hmmm, allow you take her and I just walk away? Not gonna happen," Reza said to Noah. "As much as I appreciate your concern for my health, I don't know you from Adam. If you want you can help get her to my car and I'll escort her home" Reza made clear.

"Don't take it personally , I'd rather see things done myself. Wouldn't ever forgive myself if I left her with you and anything happened. Come on, I parked just a few blocks away" Reza said as he motioned for them to follow. As he turned, he noticed Cody for the first time.

"Hey, you alright? You weren't hurt in anything that was going on right?"

"Nah, I'm fine." Cody gave the cop a quick smile and a nod before looking back at Lutea. "Just stayed out of the way and watched the show." It looked like he had things under control really. Nothing he could do. Especially since what he could do was probably to help carry her to the car and he didn't feel like getting infected.

"Should bring the car here instead of her to it though, right? Doesn't look like she should be moved much."

Noah could already feel it in his gut, he would become sick to, if not it was that nauseous feeling of being near someone that was really sick. To top off having his motives questioned right from the beginning by this tin god. "Then get your car. This guy's right," Noah nodded towards Cody, and realized it was the man he'd been talking to earlier. "It's better if you bring it to her. I'll keep her from falling over and hurting herself worse. We'll make this a team effort."

Noah would look at Misery, the girl he knew as Lutea and asked, "Too late now. How far away do you live?"

Reza didn't like the idea of leaving the girl with two people he didn't know, but what other choice was there right now? The detective looked down the block to where he was parked before deciding that he would have to take a small leap of faith in this scenario. "Very well, I'll go and get the car. You two stay right here until I get back" Reza instructed.

With that he soon turned and darted off down the road, heading to his vehicle.

Well, Lutea seemed to know what was happening to her, so Cody was fairly confident he'd made the right choice in not touching her. He looks back to the cop again and nods, "Right." Looking back at Noah, he pulled his backpack off from his shoulders. "If you put this on her I can hold her up without touching her so you don't have to worry about getting sicker. Might be too late to help though."

Misery didn't have much more strength to struggle or argue her point and so she simply resigned herself to her fate of being assisted with a weak sigh.

"I... I don't know... I don't know where we are... It's a big house... You can't miss it...?"

She'd never really needed to learn the lay of the land since she was constantly following her sisters around and didn't often leave without one, the other or both at once. Mostly she just walked along with her head in the clouds without even taking in the sights.

"I've already taken it as a foregone conclusion." Noah responded frankly to Cody's offer to help, not that it wasn't appreciated, the damage was already done. "Thanks though."

And then came Misery's response to his own question. She had no clue where she lived. What... was she a four year old trapped in an... eighteen-year-old's body?

Noah could already feel his stomach tightening down, he'd definitely caught what she'd had.

"Is it nearby? Or in another part of the city?" Noah inquired briskly, hoping that he could at least get a bead on the direction they were supposed to be going before the car arrived. "Do you have your I.D. card?"

Reza jogged back to his car, only slowing down to pull out his phone and dial his Captain. They had a brief, albeit tense conversation about what the Captain was seeing on the news and Reza's part in it. Reza did what he could to explain everything, but he didn't have all of the pieces yet.

"You're saying these sisters have powers?" he asked.

"Two of them at least, perhaps the third as well" Reza said before moving in to his car. "I promise I'll give you a full debrief when I get in to work tomorrow, but right now one of them needs my help. I need to get her some aid before she does anything reckless with her powers"

"Understood, get it done Reza. I'll see you tomorrow" the Captain said before hanging up. Shortly afterwards, Reza pulled his vehicle up to the others.

"If you're coming let's get going. She's looking worse if that's even possible"

"Do you know your address?" Everyone knew their address, that was one of the things you had to memorize growing up and you kept that habit even once you'd moved. "Or phone number?" Cody nodded to Noah, pulling the backpack back on. He certainly looked sicker.

Noah's swift infection and Lutea getting even more visibly sick was more than enough reason for him to decline the offer from the cop once he'd arrived back with his car. "I'll be heading off, rather not risk getting sick anymore than I already have. Good luck."

Still, the odds of him ever seeing these people again were rather low, and he was curious to see how this turned out. Maybe he'd follow the car along from the rooftops.

"...Nuh...?" Misery questioned unintelligibly before doubling over into a painful sounding dry heave. Once that ordeal was finished, the young girl shakily reached into the waistband of her skirt to fumble with pulling out her ID card. Fortunately she was required to carry it on her at all times to prove that she was actually eighteen and not just faking it whenever Malady felt like clubbing. She couldn't actually fully raise her arm to present the card to anyone, but it was at least in plain sight where someone could grab it from her to figure out where exactly she lived.

To Cody's questions, Misery merely shook her head, though she quickly decided that was a bad idea as she staggered in place before only barely catching herself with some support from Noah.

Noah was quick to snatch the ID from the ailing woman before she dropped it. He scanned it quickly and quickly put the information to memory. This girl wasn't Lutea Grace, by any means her name was Misery Maxence. Boy her parents must have LOVED her, no wonder she took a name like Lutea Grace. The address wasn't much concern, but he knew the neighborhood, it was a rich suburb nearby.

The car pulled up, and Noah pulled Misery's weight onto him moved to the car as quickly as he could holding her up and opened the door, stuffing her into the back, then moving in himself and closing the door behind him.

"Her home is in the Paul Revere Heights." Noah would stuff Misery's ID back into waist band. And sat back conserving his strength. He could feel his condition continually worsening.

"Not too far at least" Reza said before waiting for those two to get in to the car. As soon as they were secure in their seat belts he hit the gas and took off, heading to the neighborhood. A specific house could be pointed out lately.

"You know, using powers in this kind of a way is very illegal" Reza said as he drove. "Your sister do this kind of stuff often? Poisoning someone isn't funny, even if it's not fatal by design"

Now sitting in the backseat of a car where she couldn't collapse at any minute, Misery took the time to attempt to recuperate some of her strength as her body practically melted into the seat.

"Yuh..." she attempted to answer the question, following it up with an unintelligible explanation of her sister's behavior and the reasons for doing as such. Though her words weren't capable of being understood, it seemed from her tone that she was attempting to stick up for Malady.

Noah listened to the police man, he would offer a counter argument that the girl hadn't hurt anyone, but besides the argument being impertinent, he was also quickly drained of the energy to actually partake in the fight. Choosing instead to help the Misery when she needed help walking.

Setting his gaze onto the girl riding in the back with him Noah realized that she looked as bad as he felt, and most likely felt worse than he did.

Well, that conversation really didn't go anywhere. Reza would just have to take a look later, or just hope that this didn't happen again. Powered people were being watched as it was. Misery's little show didn't help, but that was nothing compared to what people like Malady would look like on the news. People using powers just for their own hatred and vendettas, it painted a very ugly future.

They eventually arrived at the neighborhood that Misery's card pointed them to. They wouldn't be able to help her to the door, Malady was refusing a cure should Misery not be able to get back home on her own. "Were here" Reza said before turning to look at the two in his back seat. "Should you need anything Misery, just come find me. The name's Reza....I sure hope things get better for you"

Back on the rooftops, Cody sat and watched the car as it drove off for a bit, then decided that, yes, he would follow them. With a cop they'd be able to easily find the house, but what was going to happen to the infect guy? And who were these three anyway?

Keeping an eye on the cop's car, he leaped off the top of the building, propelling himself rapidly towards the next one. If nothing else, this was good practice, he was getting much better at it than he had been originally. Eventually he came to a stop far enough from the place that he wouldn't be able to see details, just a small car and smaller people, not having a particularly good place to go that was any closer.

"Mmh..." Misery groaned as she forced herself up and off the seat. "Here... take these... Each of you need one..." she spoke up weakly, holding a shaking hand up to reveal two red and white mystery capsules held in her palm. "It's my miracle drug... It'll get rid of what you got from me..." No doubt Reza would also have begun feeling at least a little weary after being in the same general vicinity as Misery for so long. She waited patiently for Noah to claim the pills from her. "Thank you for helping me..."

"Nah, this kind of thing is what I do." Noah responded passing on the pill and the gratitude, he would have waved his hand, but his entire body felt heavy like lead. "If it's as good as you say, you should take it." Noah recommended, he also wasn't going to take a mysterious pill from a socialite, a socialite that might be an alright person, but she was still a socialite.

"I'll be fine." The Security Guard of course didn't look fine, he doubted he could get himself up without momentous effort. And he could feel the fever burning his body.

"Please your pill is unnecessary, why I feel-" but Reza stopped as he suddenly emptied his stomach on the floor of his car right in front of him. "Ah I just...I just cleaned that" Reza said with exasperation before taking the pill and popping it into his mouth. Should have known, even as a kid his immune system was strong but when he did get hit he always got hit hard. Apparently this had only been a few moments away.

"Look, thanks for the pill. Just take care of yourself now alright?" Reza asked Misery as he watched her. "If anything like this happens again you call me...it's pretty damn inhumane" he muttered as he looked at the vomit on his floor. No one should be subject to that, especially their own family.

"You weren't supposed to be sick..." Misery answered Noah's question with a look of unhappiness, handing a pill off to the nice police officer before slapping the hand with the remaining pill over Noah's mouth and holding it there till he swallowed it. "Take it... you'll feel better. My sister will get mad if you stay sick like this..."

Reza would be instant proof of the pill's effects. Misery's miracle drug would not only instantly cure him of all that ailed him, but he'd quickly feel better than he ever had before in his life as if the drug had somehow rewound his body chemistry to that of a healthy child. Within seconds of taking the drug he'd feel like he could step out and lift his car with his bare hands!
